What you need during the holiday season plus tips and warnings

What you need to stay healthy during the holiday season

A positive, constructive attitude towards your health and that of others

A willingness to do whatever is necessary to stay healthy and help others to stay healthy

A definite, health-oriented plan of action with respect to things that you and others can do to stay healthy during the holiday season
The ability to communicate with others the importance of staying healthy at all times and even more so during the holiday season as that is when everyone is the most vulnerable

The time and energy to organize and plan the holiday season in order to avoid stress or at least have the minimum of stress during that time

A notebook or diary to keep track of unique ways you and others have found to stay healthy during the holiday season

Tips and warnings about the holiday season

Do not allow others to stress you out during the holiday season.

It is your holiday season too, so plan to relax and enjoy it.

Avoid obsessive-compulsive holiday patterns of behavior. While they may have worked in the past, are they really contributing to your health or that of your family?

Do not try to do too many things for the holiday season, all at once. There are other days and times when it will be possible to do other things.

Do not leave things until the last minute. Begin immediately to prepare for the holiday season and work on them, one at a time.

Do not fret about attaining perfection in your holiday season planning, as absolute perfection is only in heaven’s realm.

A little bit of imperfection can be acceptable to everyone, while over-doing anything is not healthy for anyone either spiritually, mentally, emotionally or physically.
